
Get to know Emma Harrison
My Story
Emma Harrison is a Senior Respiratory Physiologist with 18 years of experience in respiratory healthcare. She began her NHS career in 2008.
Emma completed a Diploma in Healthcare Science in 2020, enabling her to go on and achieve Degree Equivalence and professional accreditation with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS).
Emma currently works full-time at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, where as part of her respiratory role, she acts as Quality Control Lead within the department.
Prior to her NHS career, Emma worked as a carer within the community.
Outside of her professional life, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit.
