Cancellation and Refund Policy

We kindly ask patients to provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be chargeable.

Refunds for prepaid appointments will be issued if cancellation takes place before the 24 hour window. Medication, prescriptions and completed clinical services are non-refundable.

If Kingsford Medical Services must cancel or postpone an appointment, we will offer the next available appointment time or a full refund.

Complaints Procedure

Kingsford Medical Services aims to deliver the highest standard of care. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, you may make a complaint by contacting our clinic team in writing or by email.

How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked online through our website or by contacting our clinic team directly.

Can I self-refer?
Yes. Kingsford Medical Services accepts self-referrals for all services.

Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes. GP E-Consults and certain follow-up reviews can be delivered virtually when clinically appropriate.

Do you provide same day appointments?
Availability varies, but we aim to offer prompt access wherever possible.

Fees and Payment

How do I pay for my appointment?
Payment can be made online at the time of booking or at the clinic before your appointment begins.

Do you accept insurance?
Some services may be eligible for reimbursement depending on your insurer. Please check with your provider before booking.

Are prescriptions included in the appointment fee?
Prescription costs are separate and may include charges from the dispensing pharmacy.

Clinical Services

Do I need a GP referral?
No. You may book directly with any of our services.

Can I request repeat medication?
You must have previously been assessed by a Kingsford Medical Services clinician for the same condition before requesting a prescription-only service.

What conditions do your specialists treat?
We offer GP, Respiratory Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Orthopaedics, Women’s Health, Weight and Nutrition services and diagnostic testing.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

What should I bring?
Please bring an up to date medication list, any relevant letters or results and a form of identification.

Will I receive a summary after my appointment?
Yes. A clinical summary or management plan will be provided and can be shared with your NHS GP upon request.

After Your Appointment

How do I access my results?
You will be contacted directly once your results are reviewed. Follow-up appointments may be arranged where needed.

Can you write to my NHS GP?
Yes. With your consent, we can share clinical information with your NHS GP to support continuity of care.

Do you offer parking?
On-street parking is available near our clinic, disabled parking is available on site. 

Are your clinicians fully qualified?
All clinicians are fully trained, experienced and appropriately registered to deliver private healthcare services in the UK.
