Get to know Dr Farrukh

My Story

Dr Farrukh is an experienced GP working in Birmingham and Solihull Area. Dr Farrukh is currently working as a senior GP in one of the local NHS surgeries in Solihull. Dr Farrukh is our Chief Medical Officer.

 

She is Significant Event lead in her practice and keenly involved in teaching of medical, nursing and paramedic students.

Dr Anbrin Farrukh started her medical career in 2003 after graduating from King Edward Medical College Pakistan. This is one the most prestigious medical institute in South Asia. She moved to the UK in 2007 and completed her basic medical training followed by specialist training in general practice. She achieved her certificate of completion of training (CCT) in General Practice in 2017. She has since worked at various practices in Birmingham, Solihull and Warwickshire.

 

Dr Farrukh takes a special interest in women’s health, peri menopausal symptoms management, family planning and young persons’ health issues. She is currently enrolled with British Menopause Society. She has consistently received some excellent feedback from her patients and their families and is always prepared to go an extra mile to help them. She is named GP for many families and takes immense satisfaction in this. Dr Farrukh is an experienced GP and busy mother of three children. Her children are in key school years and keep her occupied after work.

 

However, she tries to find some time for music and swimming to wind down.
